Caring for your piece

Each Jeld piece is hair-on, full-grain cowhide — natural, and best kept simple.

— Keep it dry. Water can mark or matt the hair. If it gets wet, let it air-dry away from heat, then brush gently.
— Brush, don't wipe. A soft brush in the direction of the hair lifts dust and keeps it full.
— Keep it out of direct sun. Prolonged light can fade the natural colour.
— Store it in its dust bag, loosely stuffed to hold its shape, somewhere cool and dry.
— Spot clean only. For marks, a barely-damp cloth and patience — never soak it.

Treated well, full-grain leather only deepens with age. These pieces are made to last a lifetime.
